Nokia is the next big thing in the IT industry after may be IBM and Intel, as these are the two major companies that literally took over the computer industry completely and still are the major players. Similarly Nokia is the brand that took over the mobile industry and by all means it really is the leader in it.
After Nokia launched its N-series phones, the concept of a mobile entered into a new dimension as now with these phones you just don't have mobile in your hand but a very powerful computer that you can control. So enhancing this innovation in mobile making, Nokia recently introduced the N97 smart phone, which is yet another of those powerful N-series phones with even more capabilities then the previous hot seller, N96.
The phone consists of a Symbian OS 9.4 with Nokia S60 Fifth Edition UI N97 and a large, 640×360-pixel, 3.5-inch, TFT Touchscreen, with 16,777,216 colors, resistive touch, separate touch foil and touch feedback. Just like windows vista you can add widgets to you home screen and drag and move them according to the way you want them to appear.
The keyboard is a conventional QWERTY keyboard with the screen adjusted to a very fine angle to make typing and working easy. It has many multimedia built in application to suit you need and comes with a 5 mega pixel camera. It has a internal memory of 32 GB and an expandable SD memory slot.
The phone is compatible with all connectivity technologies like EDGE,3G,GPRS and wireless LAN which can be used in your office,home or places where there is wireless connectivity. It has its own version of office to make your work easy, you can also have conference call with a camera present at the front of the screen. Overall it is a mini laptop packed with all the features to suit you needs.
