Micro Helicopters
December 28th 2008 14:48
Micro helicopters are small remote controlled helicopters which work with electrical power. They are also called as; RC helicopters and for all reasons they can also be termed as 'toy helicopters' but these devices are not just for playing, instead a wide variety of jobs can be done with these little things.
A micro helicopter is a super small size helicopter but can propel in air with much ease. Recently sub-micro helicopters were also developed which made the size of these helicopters, much smaller.
There are a number of designs of these helicopters ranging from a basic to professional a design. A professional design gives a wide range of control option to the operator. Such designs make the helicopter a little hard to handle but it also gives flexibility to perform a number of flying aerobics.
These helicopters use small servo motors to run the two rotors, one at the back to control the rotation and pitch of the helicopter, the second one at the top to provide lift. Additionally a number of other design enhancements make the flight of the helicopter really smooth.
