How To Find IP?

It has been a long time since I posted some thing here in my tech blog probably because I am way to busy these days in my semester exams so keeping the blogs up to date is quite difficult. Nevertheless I am here to post some thing useful here in the blog. From the title it is quite evident that I will be telling you how to find your IP address.
Many of the people who use internet don't really know what an IP address is and aren't even bothered with its existence, while there are some other bunch of people who don't know what and IP address is but really want to know how to find it out so may be this post is for those guys, because people who really know what and IP address is do also know how to find it.
IP stands for Internet Protocol and it is the unique address assigned to you computer with in a network. You IP is very important for many people out there it also tells the location of a computer as to from where it is located.
There are two types of IPs one is the "Static IP" and the other is the "Dynamic IP" internet connection having static IPs are usually expensive and if you are to set up a server you have o get a static IP. Most ISPs (Internet Service Providers) give you a static IP that is automatically detected in you PC.
How To Find IP?
Actually finding IP is quite easy and doesn't require any expertise and the simplest method would be to find it through an online website that will tell you IP when you visit it.
The site is http://www.whatismyip.com/
Just click on the website to find out the the IP, but the IP displayed by such websites is the public IP assigned to you by your ISPs server.
To check your IP settings, manually with in your Local Area Network just follow the steps below:
1. Go to settings
2. Go to Network Connections
3. Open Local Area Network
4. Click on support above the window, it will display your IP configuration.
