Biofuel And Its Types

Automotive technology is making new breakthroughs every passing time. Every now and then when there is a motor show we see cars showing off entirely new engineered engines and some of the best artistic designs taking us ahead in the future.
But no matter how many ideas we see, and how many efficient and green motor engine technologies come into play, we still know we are bound to use the traditional gasoline obtained from bio fuel.
Indeed cars now run very efficiently on this fuel, but still they are not green engines, and it’s inevitable to stop the ever depleting resources of mineral oils. The technology to replace us with another fuel exists. But no concrete step has been taken in this regard.
There exists a strong lobby that stops us from switching, but in years to come resources will deplete very fastly and we have to use a different energy source to run our cars. The best alternative so far is bio fuel. Biofuel has already started to be used in cars, as the sole fuel or in mixture with traditional gasoline.
Biofuels are obtained by bacterial action on organic matter. Many synthetic methods have been developed to produce biofuel. Vast numbers of bio fields are being grown to produce this synthetic fuel.
Following are the Biofuels being produced:
1. Biodiesel
2. Bioalcohols
3. Biogases
